Synopsis

Filmmaking is more than just a job for me - it’s a reason to exist. It’s the red carpet to far away worlds and long lasting friendships. It’s making complex concepts structured and understandable.

As a filmmaker I mostly work on documentaries. My films feature eccentric people living adventurous lives. They often live on the ever changing fringes between nature and culture, and just as often making bold statements on modern society whilst living this way. Besides that, I have a strong urge to use film to give a voice to those who are traditionally underrepresented in the media, or those who can’t voice their stories due to economic or political reasons.

Besides non-fiction, I have a strong foundation in content marketing and believe every brand has a story to tell. Traditional filmmakers are typically solely focused on crafting films. However, my commercially-focused background enables me to think in line with brand identity, and create strategy, concept and realisation in the best possible way.
