Synopsis

A short documentary about Salem, a young refugee from Morocco, living and working in the Netherlands. But for how much longer? His big dream is to become a cardiologist, and to this end, he was studying in Kharkiv, Ukraine. When the war broke out, he fled from Ukraine to Almere, where he now stays in an emergency shelter for Ukrainian refugees. However, since he isn’t a Ukrainian national, his future here is highly uncertain, and he now faces deportation.
